    Dude Guest

I've searched and posted on this before with no resolution.

We have Windows 2008 Server and all workstation have IE7. We need to set
some Trusted Sites in IE7. The option is greyed out on every workstation and
    in group policy
on the 2008 server. ESC is turned off on the 2008 servers.

    How do I enable this?

  2. Dude,
What do you mean by "it is greyed out in group policy on the 2008 server"?

    Group Policy on 2008 Server
User Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Internet Explorer Maintenance ->
Security -> Security Zones and Content Rating

Import the current security zones and privacy settings -> modify settings

I go into Trusted Sites and and I cannot add sites, the buttons are greyed
out (disabled) to add new sites.

  4. Hello Dude,

First, go through all your GPOs in your domain and make sure none of them is
setup to have this feature disabled. Because I have given you several
options before and none seems to have resolved the issue.

  5. OK, forgetting Group Policy for a moment, if you go to Internet Explorer on
the server and go to the Security tab, Trusted Sites, is it greyed out?
