IAS Redundancy

Discussion in 'Windows Home Server' started by Dan, Sep 4, 2009.

We currently have IAS running on our primary DC (Windows 2003 Svr) at our
datacenter. We're planning on implementing it on a secondary DC for
redundancy. If the primary DC were to crash, would the radius authentication
from other app servers that use radius be seamless or is there any manual
    intervention needed?

    Thanks for any feedback,
    Dan

There is no automatic failover to IAS on "still live DC". You have to
configure all your RRAS to use IAS on DC's which you want to use and
configure all IAS on that DC's to accept requests from RRAS.
