I Think There Should Be A New Forum

    So i was thinking there should be a new forum on here directed towards smart phone related problems. What do you guys think?

    BeeCeeBee has made a good point regarding the level of expertise available on the site. If we had a dedicated forum it would reflect badly on CHF if we where not able to offer detailed help to members who had problems. As it is, both staff and members can supply a small amount of help by pointing people towards specialised sites as and when needed...That is sites that specialise in phones of this type.

    Others may have a different opinion..

    Thanks for the suggestion Patrick, however I don't think there is enough expertize available,

    or enough call,to warrant a dedicated Forum on Smart Phones at this point in time.:)

    If a particular area on the site does not contain enough individuals with extensive knowledge I think a tag should be included stating words to that effect. Something like "This area is not in the realm of Computer Help Forums expertise and the advise given herein is that of the poster alone".

    I personally do not even have a cell phone and have no intention of getting one, so if I made a post about such an item people should know that I most likely haven't a clue as to what I'm talking about.

    Smart phones are very specific in terms of the operating systems used too.
    That in itself makes it specialised, all smart phones pretty much follow the same menus and configurations etc, but its the OS that causes most smart phone issues and as they are specific people are better searching for a specific forum themselves...
