I play several games on facebook, but suddenly SOME of the games I used to play will no longer load.
I have Windows Vista Home Premium, I use the newest version of firefox and Flash and shockwave. I've cleared the cache.(several times) I've tried Chrome. I went to firefox earlier when IE had problems with some games. At that time, firefox solved the problem.
Nothing seems to help. But these are the only suggestions anyone seems to be able to offer.
I don't know what else to do.
I hope someone has some suggestions.

Which version of flash do you have installed?

    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Use the link above and install the flash player again.

Hi. Run the Flash Player test to make sure it is installed correctly.

Have you checked your browsers and made sure that the plugin shows and that it is enabled.

Thanks for that link, that was an interesting endeavor. I did have the correct Flash installed, but it told me I needed to dl Java 3D 1.5.1 which I did. Chime and VRML both said there were no suitable plugins available:
    Flash is installed.
    Java is installed.
    Chime is not installed.
    Shockwave is installed.
    MathML-Font is installed.
    VRML-Player is not installed.

Yes, and I just checked again after having fiddled around with Flash and Java -
Shockwave Flash 11.4.402.265 is showing and it is enabled.

Hi, considering these games are Facebook games, I am wondering if some aspect of your security is now blocking them, which firewall are you using, and which antivirus?
Also, do you have any parental controls turned on? they may also be blocking certain games.

    Nev.

I have windows firewall and use windows defender. I don't use an antivirus program, they cause too many problems. (I am careful about what websites I go to and what I open from emails, etc - never had a virus problem - and I've been addicted to the net since windows 3.1 on an old 386!! :D) but I do run an anti spyware program and ccleaner from time to time. Popup blockers are turned off and I don't use any parental controls - no kids here - all grown up! :)

Also, whatever is going on is a recent development. I used to have no problem loading and playing these games. But now some won't load (example, Gardens of Time - used to play, now can't get in. also any of the playdom and kingdom games as well as some videos on the web, but I can play vids on youtube without a problem)

You could have malware hidden in your computer and you are not aware of it. They don't always show their faces.

Using CCleaner can do more harm than good. Any Registry cleaner for that matter.

Malwarebytes free is a good Malware program to have on your computer.
    Here.

I don't play facebook games however on research have come across a couple of possible reasons you could be having problems.

    1. Having the FaceBook security feature enabled in your account can prevent you from playing some games.

    2. Have you got secure browsing enabled?

    3. Have you the Java Applet installed?

    Thanks for the suggestions :)
I downloaded the malware program and it didn't find any issues.
It's a very nice program though, I like it.

I don't have secure browsing turned on in facebook.

When you say Java applet I assume you mean firefox add-on? If so, I have:
    Java deployment toolkit 7.0.60.24 10.6.2.24

    and
    Java(tm) platform SE 7 U6 10.6.2.24

and they're both up to date.
