I obviously picked the wrong tv series. One of the episodes was named "nobody puts baby in a corner"

I get the distinct impression that ranks are being closed and I am a victim of forum bullying.
I am going to have to refer this to my union .....

This one brought tears to my eyes...good ones...thank you allheart.

I remembered going to a so-called "shelter", and saw a little dog on crouching on concrete. There was a dead and bloated mouse lying in her water dish. The "keeper" of the place tied a rope around her neck, picked her up and handed her to me. I then discovered she had fairly long legs after all, she had been cowering and thus looked so small. I had her for 14 years, and there is no doubt that she did save me.

Now I have 3 little ones (females) that the breeder no longer wanted for different reasons. One 9 year old and was too old for breeding, one developed problems after her 2nd litter and had to be spayed, ( I did pay her a few dollars for that one, the others were just handed to me) . The last one, after a couple of litters did not "bounce back" as she should have. She was a wraith. The 9 year old is now 12, is active and healthy, the last one needed only a change of diet, and her coat is thick and shiny. They are all healthy as can be and keep busy keeping ME healthy.
Didn't mean to go on about all this, but that's what reading this post stirred up. :)

    Hi redwing :)

We have had a bit of fun in this thread but you have brought us back down to earth.

I cannot understand why some people have animals if they mistreat them.
People like you need a medal.
To take on one dog is commendable - to take on 3 ....... :)

They have obviously given you a great deal of pleasure and dogs, if treated well, are very loyal.

Thank you for returning this thread to some sort of sanity.

    Thanks Ken,

In order to stay sane, one must have a dose of insanity now and then, I think! I did enjoy it too. :D
