I am having a major problem with my desktop computer Yesterday My desktop computer crashed I had the Blue screen of Death saying that the physical memory dumped and now when I turn on the computer it makes a Beeping noise and nothing comes on the screen . I feel Upset because my desktop was my favorite computer and because I have no job I have no money to buy a new computer I have no money to take the computer to a computer repair shop . I would like a good Used working desktop Computer that works with all the installation Cds that came with it all I need is the tower part I have the monitor. Please message me if you can help because before my desktop crashed my desktop was my favorite computer and it would mean a lot to me to have a good used working desktop computer. I have tried frececycle and freecycle is no good because you have to drive to pick up the item you want and I do not drive at all.

Have you tried writing to Santa Claus?:D

Surely this is a Joke. Who in their right mind would give a stranger a perfect working Computer including all the discs for nix and you would like them to pay the freight as well because you don't drive.
I see you have posted the same post on other sites.

I saw an advert on gumtree for a refurbished tower going for £25 with delivery possible in the local area so I guess your quest isn't hopeless

I have to agree with the comments above that it's unlikely that anyone will give you a healthy working computer.

So the next option would be for us to fix the computer you already have.

To help us do this we will need a few details...

    1. Is your computer custom built or was it brought in a store?

    2. If brought in a store...What is the make and model? (Full details please)

    3. Please explain the beeping noise...How many beeps/Are they long or short beeps/Do the beeps continue until you shut down the computer?

    Please get back to us...

Also, what Operating System was being run?
As you mention 'installation cd's' i suspect Win XP.

I researched this and came across Allheart55's advice given to someone with the same issue.
    Her advice was
    QUOTE
"In the Dimension 3000 six beeps on boot is a RAM error. Reseat the RAM properly"
