Error message when you browse a Web server that has Internet Explorer 7
    installed: "ASP 0177:8000ffff"

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945701

There are no links to obtain windowns 2008 x64 version

    I would appreciate any help

  2. There are instructions to contact Microsoft support
    http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support

However, Windows Vista/2008 SP2 is already available (to MSDN/Technet Plus
subscribers) and this issue should be fixed there.

  4. Hello ted,

If you read the article complete you would see in the left upper corner "HOTFIX
DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE" "View and request hotfix downloads", click that link,
agree to the terms and conditions and you come to the download page.

So it is really easy if you use the article.

    Best regards

    Mr. Weber,

If you followed the DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE link yourself you would have
    seen the following available:
    Internet Explorer 7 for XPSP2 English x86 sp3 Fix219651
    Windows Vista All (Global) x86 sp1 Fix215521

Neither of those are for Server 2008 x64

Yet the article talks about the DLL version for x64 versions of
    windows.
