I still do not understand why I can drag/drop sometimes and it works and others it does not.

If I have several logins for same site what is the best way to test them? Should I just try each older to see what works and if get to a newer that work just edit and keep the working ones? Never tried this before. Wondered if any recommendations.

Please don't edit. Look over the usernames and chose the one you want to use for a particular site. If it works, delete all the other username/password combos for that site.

Sometimes I can drag and drop successfully and other times I cannot. I do not understand WHY.
About logins and passwords I decided I want to make a written copy of whichever ones I use and want to keep. But it has been so long since I did this I have forgotten how.

Do I edit a password by simply removing it and typing a new one in?

Neither! I said don't edit and you do not need yet another password for a site in which you already have too many.

If you have several passwords for a site, try each and see what works. Write attempts on scratch paper Save that one and delete the others that don't work.

Get out a good sheet of paper and write down the one username and password that works on that site with either the name of the site or its address.

Now I seem to be able to drag and drop the URL to the desktop or into a folder on desktop. Suddenly the ability returned.

Is it a bad idea to open or read SPAM ? I usually just delete it forever.

HOW do I change my log-in password in my Dell Inspiron Laptop M5040 computer. I try to delete but cannot get the old one to disappear. The new one appears typed in but I cannot get it to disappear so I can retype it. And it does not work properly when I do try to use it.
I guess you could say they do work but they do not autofill or allow login unless I retype it.

FINALLY got my online bank website login to work without my typing it in and looking it up every time. It just wasn't saving it as all the others and it did before. Maybe it has to be typed in in order to work.

Also, is there a way of stopping all these repeated SPAM messages such as unsubscribing or something? I seem to get the same ones over and over.

Are the spam emails in your junk folder or your inbox, Bill?

My computer has an inbox and also a Spam Folder. I do not open them but the Spam seems to keep having the same titles.I just select them and click Delete Forever. I am not sure what a junk folder is. I guess that would be the Spam folder.
Many come from Reddit and there are many offers for free stuff that I simply delete forever. But they keep on coming. Accounts closing that I never had in the first place, free gifts, etc.

Never open anything in your spam/junk folder.
It should automatically delete itself after 30 days.

I used to see a place to start a new thread. Now I cannot seem to find it again. Any suggestions?
