I have removed them from your preferences in the admin panel.
You shouldn't still be getting them.

I rechecked your settings in admin panel under both your user names.
You should not be getting any emails at all.

I do thank you and do hope it works. My last one came dated 6:41 AM today. I just deleted it and will post if it keeps on. Never happened until recently. I am having all sorts of trouble with browsers and emails usage. Never had more than one browser, email or account before.

If I set Google as default browser and try to go to g mail it opens up the Help Center site.

I clicked More Options and unchecked Receive email notifications. Was that right?

Is there a better browser for free than Google Chrome or Firefox ESR. I am very confused with 2 different browsers using 2 different accounts one as default and the other non-default. Especially if my Firefox has an old and different login. Or should/could I upgrade Windows 7? I am unsure of what to do.

I am afraid my best or only choice is to uninstall Google Chrome and maybe FireFox ESR and start fresh. With ONLY my one account. Not more than one. Too confusing to have two emails and browsers and 2 accounts.

Do not uninstall FF ESR!!! I fear that if you do that, you will end up with no working browser. You will not be able to log in to any website.

No there is not a "better" browser than FF ESR. So stop looking. FF ESR is the only browser that is secure on Windows 7.

If you remain on your Windows 7 computer and use another browser, your chances of getting infected will increase. You don't want that.

I will keep the FF ESR for it is working well. Considering uninstalling the Google Chrome for I can do mostly nothing with it, and see no real reason to keep it. The FF ESR works with g-mail, my own login, my wife's log in and I believe I will keep it. I do wish I knew how how to change the login name and password though for it is an old browser that I had before the Google Chrome and I updated to FF ESR when I saw it on this forum. I have my wife's AND my own account on it ant it works with g-mail and most everything. I have learned it is very confusing to have more than one browser. I thank you for this advice.

Does it make more sense to uninstall Google Chrome or simply stop using it?

If having 2 browsers confuses you, then uninstall Chrome.

    I'm sorry Bill.
We can't help you with this issue.
You should probably just uninstall Chrome because you can't access your Gmail with this browser and we cannot fix it for you.

I was going to do this but since Google Chrome DOES work for SOME things I was afraid to uninstall and later regret it. But Firefox ESR seems to work perfectly for me. Maybe I WILL consider uninstalling Google Chrome for from what I read it is pretty outdated anyway at least for Windows 7. Uninstall does seem like the best option. Two browsers are a lot more trouble than only one, in my experience.
