How do i use windows server 2003 to only allow certain IP and IP r

Hi,

My Windows Server 2003 is setup in a workgroup environment. I was thinking
if any outsider manage to plug into my office network, they can access
network resources with correct IP Range settings.

Is there a way to allow only a specified IP Address to access the server?
Outsiders with correct IP range can only maybe use the DNS to online & search
for information. They can't access the server resources, thus can't spread
any contagious network virus too.

Hello Hong,

The official supported way is to implement ipsec but it requires an active
directory domain instead of a workgroup
