    Hi there. I am new to the group. I was wondering if anyone can help me with my problem. I installed a new image viewing program which I then uninstalled (because I didn't like it), but all of my .jpg files had changed icons and I could not open them by double clicking on them anymore. I then re-associated them with my original image viewing software, and I am now able to double click on the images and view them, however, the icons for all of my .jpg files have changed to a funny-looking icon, and not the icon that I used to have for my .jpg files. I have tried going into explorer's Tool menu and further under Options try and change the icon, but to no avail. Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

    Under Win2K, you do this:

    -Open an Explorer window
    -Go Tools->Folder Options
    -On the 'File Types' tab, select the file type
    -Click 'Advanced' at the bottom of the window
    -Click 'Change Icon ...'

    I think it was somewhere similar under 98. Its the same place under XP.
