how do I fix my display resolution?

    Hi All,

I am running WS08 Terminal Server. I set my resolution to 1024 x
    768. But, every time
I walk away from it, sessoins get set back to 800 x 600. Is there a
way I can lock my screen resolution?

    Many thanks,
    -T

  2. Hi Todd!

Can you please let us know what version of client are you using?

    Thanks,
    Geanina

  5. Hi!

We haven't seen any issue with this client... I have more questions for
you:): the resolution changes while teh session is active? Or it is locked?

    Thanks,
    Geanina

I should state here that the 800x600 I am complaining
    about is on the console.

It happens when ever a particular user logs in from home
and run one of the programs. I think she is changing the
resolution. Which confuses me, as I thought it was not a
global setting in TS. It double confuses me as I use
Linux's "rdesktop" and "krdc", which allows me to set
whatever desktop I want on the thing, and neither
changes the default resolution when I log into the
    console.

    Todd,

User can't change screen resolution inside TS session, what display card and
driver you have on the machine? do you have multi-monitor setup? also, do
you know what program this user runs?

    Thanks.

  8. Hi Todd!

It will be helpful to clarify the repro as well. Plesae correct the below
    steps if necessary:

    1. User has a TS session on the desktop at work
    2. From home, connects remotely to the desktop at work
    3. Comes back at work, and on the desktop the TS session has the resolution
    changed

    Thanks,
    Geanina

They are mainly running Quick Books. The display adapter is
the Virtual Machine's adapter (VirtualBox Graphics Adapter).

Users have occasionally have multimonitors. Users seems
not to have a problem scaling TS to their monitors. Just
    me operating the console.

Yesterday it was on 1280x1024 (I want it on 1024x768).

    Hi Geanina,

    1. the users sessions just scale to whatever their
    native resolution is.

2 & 3. the users work from both home and work. They
have no problem as TS just scales no matter where
    they are.

I am the one with the problem. The "console's" resolution
seems to be changing every week I go in. Two weeks ago
it was 800x600. Last Tuesday is was 1280x1024. I want it
at 1024x768. I keep changing to something else.
