So much work goes into making a ball.
Amazing.

 

Quite amazing that there is still so much hands on work in making them as so many other things are now nearly all automated using robotic techniques.
A long time ago, golf balls were wound in a similar fashion using a long elastic rubber thread instead of the yarn used in baseballs, however now the core of a golf ball is a solid rubber moulding that is then coated in the plastic shell, all mainly done by machines.

 

Thank you snoopy, I always wondered how baseballs were made. I didn't realize how labour intensive it is.
