    Have you ever seen them make baseballs?

    Quite amazing that there is still so much hands on work in making them as so many other things are now nearly all automated using robotic techniques.
    A long time ago, golf balls were wound in a similar fashion using a long elastic rubber thread instead of the yarn used in baseballs, however now the core of a golf ball is a solid rubber moulding that is then coated in the plastic shell, all mainly done by machines.
