Host a web server in your own computer [PC]

    Hello everybody :)

    Today I configured out how to host a web server into my computer using Windows 7 OS.
    So, I have some questions on this topic.

    First of all, is it secure? I mean, can someone attack me[DOS attack] and destroy my computer? :eek:
    Or with other words, destroy my computer with a way?

    First off Windows 7 isn't a good choice for a server. Use a Windows server OS or Linux.

    As long as you keep up with the updates and know how to secure a server you'll have no problems.
