[background=rgb(246, 246, 246)]OK this is the weirdest issue I have ever had with a computer.
    I currently have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, intel core i7 870 @ 2.93GHz
    16 GB Dual Channel DDR3
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570

I have 3 monitors, two of which are connected to the video card, and one that is connected through a USB interface. The monitor on the USB interface has none of the issues.

On the other two I have issues when I use Google Chrome I get weird things going on. On monitor 1, the tab bar will go partially or mostly black. Each tab will reappear if I roll over it with the mouse. Everything will reappear if I click on a different monitor screen. When I take a screen capture it sees the page as normal (no black). It only does this with chrome, not IE. (Haven't checked firefox).

On monitor 2, a rectangular chink on the upper left hand of the browser will disappear and I can see the desktop underneath. Again a screen capture will not show this issue, it shows the browser as being without issue. Because of this I have taken a picture with my phone and uploaded it.

The computer has been without issue for almost 3 years. No new hardware or software has been installed in several months (long before this issue started)

To summarize this only happens with Google chrome, no other program that I have tried. It only happens on the two monitors connected to the video card. The issue presents differently on the two monitors, but exactly the same way on each specific monitor every time.

I have the most up to date drivers, and have even re-installed the video drivers. I am at a loss.[/background]

I would suggest uninstalling Google chrome, and then downloading and installing a fresh copy of Chrome.

Revo Uninstaller is a very good program to use when uninstalling an unwanted program. Use the link below to download Revo.

Note: Scroll to the bottom of the page I have linked to to get the free version of Revo.

I had already tried to uninstall and reinstall a fresh chrome, It didn't work. So I downloaded Revo and tried that using the most advanced uninstaller to get rid of everything. The problem unfortunately still continues

It is shop built, 800 watt power supply. I doubt it is a hardware issue, as I have had this computer with no hardware changes for almost 3 years ago, and it has worked without any issue until a few weeks ago. But then If I new the problem I wouldnt be here.

800w didnt sound right. I looked up what I thought was the model number. I just took the screws out so I could see the info on it, and it is a 650 watt

650 watt is ample. Chrome is a memory hog consuming near twice the amount of memory than IE.
Wondering if this has a bearing on your issue.
I would first increase the size of your virtual memory paging file.

Your card requires 2x6 pin power connectors.
    Are they wired up correctly?

Video card is wired correctly I will try increasing vm. I did receive a vm warning a couple weeks ago, it was the first and last time I had ever experienced such on this system which I though was odd.Hopefully this will solve the issue. I was unaware that chrome was a memory hog. I was under the impression it was pretty clean.

Ok increased in Vm did not help, however I have just now noticed that the issue only occurs when I have two chromes running, one on each monitor. Number of tabs does not seem to effect it. Maybe that's some key information?

Another thing you could try is adjusting your resolutions.
I'm wondering with all these monitors whether a second same video card would help.
I don't know whether your Mobo supports this and even there may be a space issue.

Wait for more advice from other Techies as they may have a different line of thought.

Hi, in your first post you mentioned that you hadn't yet tried Firefox, I assume you have it installed, or if not install it and try it. Firefox is also a big user of memory, in fact I would guess worse than Chrome perhaps.
If the problem happens in Firefox, it may suggest memory problems as DSTM first thought.

Looking at your images you seem to be using a theme for Chrome (not the default theme, which I think is a Matte White), are we sure the theme isn't to blame maybe the graphics/animations are a bit iffy for that theme, the problems seems to be on areas of the UI that would be refreshed often like the Back, Forward, Refresh/Stop and Home Buttons plus Tab icons.

In addition to checking Firefox for graphical artefacts, try resetting the theme back to default, Menu (Top right 3 lines) > Settings > Reset to default theme

You could also try another theme in the Chrome web store if the above suggestions don't work.

does not happen in firefox, then went back to default theme, and I can't seem to repeat the issue now. So looking back I think Chrome auto updated and this theme even though claiming to work, still has some issue with the newest chrome. release. Thanks everyone for the help while this wasn't a show stopper it was frustrating, and even more so because I couldn't figure out why. I kinda feel dumb for not trying that first, but I was convinced it wasn't just a chrome issue because it didn't happen on the 3rd monitor (the one connected through the USB interface).. Any theories on that, just because I am curious and like to understand things lol.

Sorry for the double post again, I just wanted to add that this seems to be an issue with any theme. Default seems to be the only one not effected. This is irritating, and since no searches game up from this in google I can only assume that its not just a chrome issue, so I will use default theme, but if anyone has any further ideas as to how to resolve this issue I am open to ideas.

There might be a few reasons for the themes acting up a bit on Chrome, I wouldn't see using three monitors to be a problem as it just reproduces the desktop across them, I use a monitor and TV with my PC and have no issues with themes (when opening two browser windows like you) so it shouldn't be the multi monitor aspect, though to be sure you could try removing your 3rd monitor (connected by USB) temporarily so you are just using the ones connected by DVI/HDMI.

Though I doubt it as well, monitors should have high enough refresh rates so your monitor resolution should be 1080p60 or 1080i60, though I think it is usually 1080p, assuming they are set to FHD, these would be set in your Nvidia control panel.

You should also look at disabling all extensions and plugins for Chrome and then install a theme to see if it works correctly, go to chrome://plugins (in URL bar) and click "disable" links and chrome://extensions and untick the "enabled" tickboxes.

I can't really think of any other possible suggestions at the minute but it may be worth looking into these for now.
