Here’s the email Satya Nadella sent to Microsoft announcing Elop’s departure

Microsoft just announced that former Nokia CEO Stephen Elop is leaving the company. As part of a new reorganization, Elop is departing alongside other key Microsoft executives. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella revealed the changes in a long memo to employees this morning, noting that a new Windows and devices division will be responsible for Surface, HoloLens, Lumia, Surface Hub, Microsoft Band, and Xbox. That newly formed division will be lead by Terry Myerson, who is currently responsible for Microsoft’s big push with Windows 10. You can read the letter in its entirety below.
