Well I am use to XP and being able to right click on a free clip art image and copying info to insert onto another page.
But I cannot find this with windows 7. How can I do this.

I am losing you here. Are you referring to clip art that comes with Office programs or some other clip art? Where were you taking it from in XP and to what were you copying it?

Do you mean you cannot right click and select copy and right click and paste
the clip art - picture or document into something like MS Word or the like?

Well yes and no. I use free clip art from online to insert to another forum that I belong to. When it's someones birthday I found ballons, cakes, pictures and stuff and post them. By right clicking with XP you could open the information of image and copy address and then insert onto forum post and the image would be inserted. Does this make more since?

This is not a Windows 7 issue, it has more to do with the forum and its settings as well as the format of the copied pictures. I would raise this issue with the Administrator of the forum in question. Feel free to attempt to post a picture here and we will be better able to see what the problem is.

Just as BeeCeeBee has stated, this is probably not an issue with Win7.

Are you using the same browser in Win7 as you have when using WinXP? The right click menu will be slightly different between some browsers.

Another thing you can do is to download your free greetings cards, etc, to a folder on your own HDD/Computer, and then upload to your chosen forum from your own PC... You could also get yourself a Photobucket account (Free!) and upload images to that account for use on your chosen forums. (Photobucket gives easy options for placing images onto forums)

Do please get back to us to let us know how you get on..

Hum, I have tried a few options, Internet explorer will not transfer direct from the host site for any clip art found via Google.
    So tried something else.

Now here is the interesting bit, using Firefox, and plain ordinary "Copy Image" it pasted the image straight in to the reply box, add quite a bit of a write up explaining what I had done, try preview, yep all OK, try to "Add Reply", it refused and told me "You must enter a post" Strange or what?
For some reason this forum software is refusing direct linking of that nature.
I think the best option, which is something I do anyway with any picture or photo, is to use the "save image as", function to somewhere on my hard drive, then upload to Photobucket. The Photobucket provided link always works.
I think we may have a tutorial on the use of Photobucket and hosting images, but not sure as I have yet to look.

I still have no idea what forum we are dealing with or the software that it uses. Is the issue here?

Agreed. Until we hear from the member and they supply the information BeeCeeBee has asked for, we can't give the right advice.
