Go raibh do ghloine lán go deo.
    Go raibh láidir go breá
    an dion thar do cheann.
    Go raibh tú í Neamh,
    leathúair os comhair
a bhfuil a fhíos ag an diabhal
    atá tú bás.

    Translated.

"May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
And may you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you?re dead."

A lovely friendly shared that the Shamrock is part of St. Paddy's Day because the 3 leaves on it were used to teach heathens about the Holy Trinity.

Oooh, I missed your birthday, our Dalo - drat, drat, drat!

But it's said that one born on St. Patrick's Day is blessed with luck and laughter his or her whole life through - and I do hope this is true for you! :)
