Guess Your Number Game

These things are unreal. I will fool it one of these days!

 

I have worked out how it is done - do you want to know ?

 

Yep....what is the secret...????

 

Let's take number 25. It is GREEN. So are 4 other numbers.

You are asked which colour it is ...............you click GREEN.

The software now knows that it is one of 5 numbers.

Ignore the mis-directions ............. like pick a coloured square and the crystal ball - and the change of colour and the addition of more numbers

You are then asked which house it is in.

The original 5 GREEN numbers have been placed in a different house.
So by indicating which house your number is in you are letting the software know exactly which original GREEN number you have chosen.

It wouldn't matter which door you select - 25 would appear anyway.

 

The only thing with knowing how it is done is that it spoils the awe and wonder.
This is why I don't ask how magic tricks are done.
The answer is always so simple - then the novelty value is lost

Actually most so called magic tricks work on diversionary tactics, the more the better so making it more difficult to see which part of the whole is the simple bit that does the actual work. Also by diverting your attention to something else helps the magician to prevent you from seeing what he actually does.

will was repeated. I worked out the way it's done also, before I read the rest of the posts. Misdirection, ain't it great?
