Gray Fonts after Recovery

    Hello to all. Have been a member for about 15 minutes now! Have been with another forum for long time but they couldn't handle my problem so, I went looking and settled here.

    Have a 2yr old HP Compaq Presario, 2GB. Did a 'Destructive" recovery and all went well except that now all system fonts are gray-hardly visible at all. This is on all tolbars, IE, Favorites and dropdowns, Outlook Express, etc.

    Device Mgr. says all is OK, no driver prob. I have tried everything I can find but haven't yet found the right button to push. Will appreciate any assist, thanks........d.w.

    Got-er-fixed! The Recovery was done thru the Windows internal Recovery. After nothing else worked I did a basic recovery using my Recovery Disk and all problems are gone! Thanks for all considerations and hope this may assist others......d.w.

    Glad you gother fixed. I was going to suggest looking at the display settings.
