is it possible to set up group policy to restrict IE temp files and cookies
on users XP workstations? We use roaming profoles and IE temp files and
cookies make it pretty big. We are in Windows 2003 native forest and domain.
Plan to upgrade to Windows 2008 in a few month. No plan to upgrade XP yet.

    Thanks.

  2. Chris,
IE temp files are not in the roaming profile, and cookies take up very
little space. You might want to take another look at what is taking up space
in the roaming profile. Usually it is Application Data, and sometimes you
can set applications to save in the local settings instead of the
Application Data folder. Otherwise you can set a quota on the profile.
