Google makes investors all googly, posts record profit, stock skyrockets

    Looks like a great day for Google (GOOG). The stock shot up to highs of 21% today after Google shocked the investment community who where expecting poor performance this quarter from the search giant. Meanwhile Microsoft (MSFT) is yet to recover from the sharp decline* in the stock market after said software giant announced plans to buy rival Yahoo! Corporation.
