    Opera email client is a slick and flexible interface that will satisfy almost all your email needs, and Opera integrates RSS feeds in this experience as well. It is a slick, small, fast and secure email client and RSS feed reader and its mail shows up in all relevant places automatically and can be searched with speed in Opera.     Thunderbird is a free, open source, cross-platform e-mail and news client. The project strategy is modeled after Mozilla Firefox.     Last night a new "member" joined the forum, went directly to this thread and posted another alternative to the list posted by Alan. Alan is a trusted member and adviser to this forum. The new member had a number of suspicious aspects to his registration information.

    I have no idea whether or not the recommendation he posted was good or not. The fact is that it appeared to be a commercial post and, therefore spam under out rules. If this becomes a pattern where posts appear from sources not known to us we may have to eliminate this kind of thread. That would be unfortunate but we need to protect our members first.

    The member in question was banned from posting.
