Fitbit is coming to Windows Phone 8.1

    Fitbit has confirmed it’s developing an app for Windows Phone 8.1. In a brief posting to the company’s community forums, a Fitbit spokesperson revealed the news by simply confirming "Fitbit is developing an application for Windows Phone 8.1." The popular range of activity trackers have long been supported on iOS and Android, but the addition of Windows Phone will boost Microsoft’s prospects in this emerging hardware segment. At the Consumer Electronics Show this year, wearables, fitness bands, smartwatches, and new hardware like Nest were all on display with a distinct lack of support for Windows and Windows Phone.
