It appears that i screwed up two browsers. I have Firefox & i also installed Waterfox. It appears that when i downloaded WaterFox it corrupted both browsers. I've decided i only want Firefox. When i uninstalled WaterFox some of my icons on my desktop will not function. I had to install WaterFox again to make the icons function again. What to do?

Uninstall waterfox, then uninstall FF.....and reboot. Then run Ccleaner to get rid of any junk files that may be left over. Reboot and then download FF and install it.

What icons are not working? If they were links they may have have been linked to WaterFox all that needs to be done is relink them for FireFox.

Mr Rustys is correct you can either delete the shortcuts on the desktop and make new ones, or simply go to your default program manager and reset the default browser to firefox. Takes 5 seconds.

Have you checked the firewall and anti virus to make sure the are configured where the software can pass through?

Can you browse to any other pages? Does IE do the same thing?
