Australia is going to burn this year. Had two wet summers and the fuel on the ground is scary.
They say tomorrow is a catastrophic fire danger as 43C forecast here and single digit humidity.
This summer is so hot. A town called Hay had 47.7c yesterday
There are 90 bush fires burning at the moment.

The weather over the WHOLE world is going crazy.  There are still some people who claim that global warming is fiction.  I would agree that the climate does go through natural changes over millennium, but to my mind there is NO DOUBT that at present we are helping things along nicely.  It will carry on getting worse.  I feel so sorry for people the world over who are suffering from these extremes.  The UK has just experienced its second wettest summer ever, while in England and Wales it has the been the absolute wettest ever. I see that there are still may people unaccounted for in Tasmania.  My sympathies to all concerned.

I agree with andsome, the weather has gone crazy everywhere.  Last year we had a real mild winter and or not much of a winter to speak of, then we got a real early spring.  I have lived around here most of my life and I can't remember, in my lifetime, having such a mild winter with hardly any snow and having 23 degree C warmth in mid March.  Crazy.
