    I take it that you have decided to withdraw from the help you have been receiving and proceed with a reinstall. If that is the case please advise so we can just close this thread. If that is not your intent then please follow DSTM's advice above and make no changes without further input from Starbuck.

    Because I do a lot of banking on my home computer yes I have done a reinstall. I backed up what I considered to be my important files onto my flashdrive, these are all text files. Would the infection that Starbucks found be able to transfer to the flashdrive and then back onto my clean install? I really do not want to have a repeat of this incident.

    Of course it can. Scan your Flash Drive with Malwarebytes before transferring anything onto another HDD.
