I especially like the dustpan in the bathroom sink one! What a simple solution - and drat, one I never thought of myself! Thanks, Snoopy!

Binder clips is a good idea as the legs seem to break quickly.
I don't like putting brackets on my walls for anything except framed pictures,
    but that's just me.
    Some good hints there, Snoopy.

Jewelry chains tend to get all tangled up in a box or a drawer and the more your search for the one you want, the messier it gets. The following is simple to make . It can be made bigger to house more chains or add more hooks. Have fun!!

    JEWELRY ORGANIZER

    Materials
12 x 12 sheet of heavy scrapbook paper or even fabric if you prefer.
    4 x 10″ piece of wood
    7/8″ nickel-plated cup hooks
    2 saw tooth hangers

    Tools
    Xacto Knife
    Cutting Mat
    Bone Folder
    Glue or Double stick tape

Step 1: Fold the paper around the board, basically like you’re gift-wrapping a present. For best results, run the tip of a bone folder along the edges to make the smoothest and straightest folds possible

Step 2: Seal the sides down with adhesive. You can use double stick tape.

Step 3: Make a tiny mark where you want the cup hooks to go. Drill pilot holes at each mark so the cup hooks will go in smoothly, and then screw them in. Finish by lightly pounding in the saw tooth hangers on the back side, one at each of the upper corners. Enjoy!

    Cleaning Up Oil
Your sweetie made a mess in the garage again. This time it is oil. You tried wiping it up and it is making a bigger mess.
Instead, grab a box of dishwasher detergent and sprinkle onto the oily mess. Let it sit for a few hours. Now grab the broom and sweep up the mess and discard. The grease cutting properties that cleans off the food, will work to clean up the grease, and the powder will absorb the oil.

    Kitty litter also works well.

U can also use tennis balls for your kitchen dining chairs & table which will make it easy to slide and not scratch the floors. Simply cut an "X" in each tennis ball and slip the leg of the chair in. If you do not want anything that bright, go to Walmart and buy small black sox [very short cut] Slip them on the botton of each chair leg; tighten with a rubber band making a wee ruffle above the band; Now get a pretty ribbon that matches your placemats or table cloth and tie it over the rubber band into a nice bow. Not only are your floors protected but you do not have to listen to chair scraping - they are cute and you will get compliments. If you do not want this everyday ... slip them on when the grandkids come - it will be so much quieter.
