I am receiving following system event on the Windows 2003 Server with two NIC
    cards on the same subnet.

"A duplicate name has been detected on the TCP network. The IP address of
the machine that sent the message is in the data. Use nbtstat -n in a command
window to see which name is in the Conflict state."

I cannot see any IP address conflict in the command window
    "Local Area Connection:
Node IpAddress: [10.104.16.148] Scope Id: []

    NetBIOS Local Name Table

    Name Type Status
    ---------------------------------------------
    EMEADISF00308 <00> UNIQUE Registered
    RCAE <00> GROUP Registered
    EMEADISF00308 <20> UNIQUE Registered
    RCAE <1E> GROUP Registered

    Local Area Connection 2:
Node IpAddress: [10.104.16.147] Scope Id: []

    NetBIOS Local Name Table

    Name Type Status
    ---------------------------------------------
    EMEADISF00308 <00> UNIQUE Registered
    RCAE <00> GROUP Registered
    EMEADISF00308 <20> UNIQUE Registered
    RCAE <1E> GROUP Registered

Need an urgent help on this issue

Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on one of the NICs. - but I also have to ask why
you have this config. If you need two NICs for redundancy you shold be using
the teaming software included with the NICs by the manufacturer.

I am using this setting because to load balance the server with two IPs. This
my Disaster recovery server (Target). 7 source are replicating their images
on this server. So to avoid bandwidth issue, 4 source connect to this target
on IP 192.168.100.100 and rest connect on different IP 192.168.100.200. I
have noticed that replication fails if i use only 1 IP (1 NIC). I do not know
    if teaming can help me.
Can you suggest in this case if iscsi HBAs would be effective?
