Event Viewer app log - "user" column "N/A"

Using Windows 2003 Standard SP2 R2, with W2003 AD domain users.

If a domain user experiences an application error on the TS, an entry
appears in the TS Application Log, but the "user" column does not indicate
which user exprienced the error. It simply shows "N/A." Is there any way
to have the actual TS username appear in that column so the admin will know
which user experienced the application error?

As far as I know it is up to the application to populate this field at event
time.
