Possible you have a corrupted Lexmark Printer Driver.
    Reinstall the correct Driver.

You are missing a .dll file that is related to your Lexmark printer.
If you have the installation CD, you need to reinstall your printer software.
If you do not have the installation media, let us know the model number of your Lexmark and we will find it for you.

You will also want to remove your printer from startup.
It isn't necessary for it to be there.
If you don't know how to do that, we can assist you.

I did exactly what you said. I went into my control panel and to the devices and deleted the Lexmark 730 and then deleted it from my programs in control panel. I had to reboot, so I did.
When the machine rebooted itself the first screen shot is what I saw and the next popped up. I didn't have anything in my laptop for the program to install.
I have the software I am using when trying to install the Lexmark, but its just not working.
    Any other suggestions? tyvm

In your screenshots, it shows that you are allowing Windows to find the correct driver.
At this point, we don't want to do that.
Do you have the Lexmark printer installation CD?

I don't let it find the correct driver. I stop it immediately because I have not even put the Lexmark CD into the correct spot. so I have no idea why that is doing that.
I do have the original Sofware that came with the printer and that is what I am using to install the Lexmark 730

Disconnect the printer for the system then attach the printer when the install software instructs you to.

Unplug your printer from the computer.
Go to Programs and Features and uninstall your printer software.
Using your Lexmark CD, reinstall your printer software and when prompted, plug your printer back into the computer.

Go into the Device Manager and is there any thing with a (!) or (X) near it or any other symbol.

    Click Start
    Right Click Computer
    Select Manage
    Select Device Manager

When I used my secondary mouse and clicked on Manage I got nothing at all. I tried clicking on my Computer and opened up my Properties in the menu on the left side I saw Device Manager. I clicked on the Device Manager and got what is showing in the screen shot I am attaching here.

Create another user on the system and install the software for the printer.

When the software tells you to attach the printer attach the printer and turn on the printer.

You said that you had a virus were you able to get it fully removed? There may be bit remaining that can be causing havoc on the system.
