Dreamweaver load failure

    Hey, I actually have a question. ;)

    My web editing software of choice is Dreamweaver 8. If I use a desktop shortcut to load there is no issue but if I pin to the taskbar in Win 7 it will fail to load with a "Failed to load ISKernal files" alert. It also states that I should make sure that I have the proper permissions to run the file. I have already tried taking full ownership of the installed directories.

    Again, this ONLY happens if I pin it to the taskbar, there is no issue when launched via a desktop icon. I have also tried several compatibility mode combinations including to run as Admin..

    Not a big deal but any ideas?

    Hi Jay. I would disable uac and reinstall Dreamweaver8 in safe mode.:)
    I would disable AV while installing
