Is there a plans for patch or Service Pack for Windows 2008 to have back
"Drag and Drop to Command Prompt" functionality?
    I really missing it.
I am reinstalling (fdowngrading) back to Server 2003 all my Windows
2008 because of the lack of "drag and drop to cmd" and backup
    functionality in Windows 2008.

  2. Hello MarcusB,

It will be back in windows 7, as alternative you can also use the "Copy
    as path" function:

For the backup, well folder level backup is removed but you can still restore
a folder/file with some additional work. Because the backup file is stored
in .vhd format you can mount it with Virtual server and copy them back.
