"Documents" folders on fileserver

We have a Windows 2008 clustered fileserver that is exhibiting some weird
behavior. This server is a home drive server. For some reason, when I look
at the home drives on the server, many of them simply say Documents instead
of the correct name of the folder.

For example, if all of the home drives are on the G: drive of the server,
and we have a user named Barak Obama's, then when I log on to the server,
open up My Computer, and go to the G: drive, I should see a folder labeled
bobama. Instead, I see one labeled Documents. If I open up the folder, it
does indeed contain all of his data, and if I talk to him, he will tell me
that everything looks fine from his perspective. It's just really annoying,
because when we administrators are trying to administer the server, we can't
tell what folders belong to who, because they all say Documents.

I'm thinking this has got to be some annoying view setting. Is there some
    way to turn it off?

    Thanks!

That's due to Vista. Read up on it below.

When you redirect the Documents folder on a Windows Vista-based computer to
a network share, the folder name unexpectedly changes back to Documents

See if there is a (hidden) desktop.ini file in the individual folders
that change the human / pretty name to "Documents".

In my opinion, you can safely get rid of these desktop.ini files in
    these types of folders.

There /may/ be a setting (personalized folders?) that will enable /
disable this, but I am not sure.
