I Have Win7 if I go into Device Manager and click next to a Device I have installed I see the Drive come down.

If you right click it and then click UpDate Driver it looks for a Driver and tells you it has the best Drive installed.

Even if it has a Bad Driver it will tell you it has the best.

So what good is Updating Driver if it says this?

How can you update in Device Manager?

What are you trying to update in Device Manager?

See if this helps please understand this is a work in progress and not completed. Now if you are selecting search automatically for update then if windows finds an update that is older than you already have installed then you sill get that message.

This is more to the fast that you have the update downloaded to the computer.

Windows 7 Updating drivers using Device Manager

Download the latest drivers from the hardware manufacturer's website. Drivers from the manufacturer will be the most current

    Click the Start button

Right Click on Computer and select Manage

On the right side select Device Manager
