Hello! As stated in the title, my desktop wont boot past starting windows. I have tried all the options Start windows normally(sometimes does the windows animation sometimes it does not do it), Launch start up repair (hangs at a black screen and does nothing), and tried to re-install Windows 7 64 Bit OS (gets stuck at starting windows also). I have read up on some other places they say press F8 and start in safe mode but the Only two options are start windows normally and launch start up repair and i cant get to the desktop at all to try there either or change things. I Suspect my hard drive failed but other places say they got a blue screen whereas i didn't get one.
If anyone knows how to fix this who is more knowledgeable than me i would greatly appreciate it.

Hi and welcome to CHF Victor T.

It does indeed sound like a hard drive problem. The only easy way to find out for sure at home is to remove it from that computer and try it in another working computer, either by direct connection, or by a USB adapter or full USB enclosure, and see if it can be accessed.
A decent reliable repairer will have stuff to test it if that isn't possible, though may charge a small fee for doing so.
