It's never easy to say goodbye to our furry four legged friends. I can still remember sitting crying petting our Emma waiting for the vet to come pick her up. Here's Emma when we first got her.

He was indeed a great companion and a shame that I had to leave him at home while at work, however otherwise, wherever I was, he was and loved riding the railway when I was down in Wales driving the diesel loco's, and sometimes the steam loco's on those where he couldn't get burned. He would watch out and bark if he saw something untoward, which was quite often sheep on the line. Passengers loved seeing him too.

Yes great eyes on the dog there Nev! I don't know if you guys noticed my avatar here but Freyja has always made "chairs" wherever she goes.
Here she is sitting on the first stair with her butt and planting her paws on the floor below and she can stop in the middle of a field and park her butt on a rock with her paws out in
front of her. What is funny when she does it the other dogs look around and start to do the same thing. We disrupted a training class like that one time when she was a puppy where she parked her butt on a curb and all the others had to do it too and would not listen to any of the owners or instructors until they got seated.

Currently I have this picture, the black panther, on the laptop. He is called Peugeot, due to the fact he purrs like one of their diesel engines and is the present incumbent and destroyer of furniture. In this shot I think he was asking for his dinner. He is also getting on in years at around 13 years old, though for a cat he may have many more to come.

All those pets are beautiful. They have their attitudes and set ways just like us humans.

No idea Rich, he was just one of a litter of several kittens born to a friends cat, so quite likely a full mongrel cat and behaves like one, very independent and goes his own way. Except when he is hungry of course, then he is all over me wanting attention.

Nev they are usually real little like that solid black and a cross between a Siamese and a Burmese both of which are really big cats usually.

He isn't a small cat, the foot you see on the bottom right is a size ten for comparison. He is due for annual injections against the usual cat problems next week, so the vet will weigh him at the time, he is a few KG in weight.

    Nev.

My latest Desk Top on one Computer. It's called Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria (Germany)
I have visited this Castle and what an anti climax. Cost a lot to visit and they only have one floor open to the Public.
I would have liked to see all the Castle rooms and go up in the Tower.Although there are lovely views from there of the lake below the Castle.
