Is Defender a part of Vista or a separate download. I have Vista Home

Where to find Windows Defender : ( 2 ways )
1.) Start button (bottom left) > click all programs > scroll to find it,
then, click it. If you don't find it..........
2.)Start button ( bottom left ) >type Windows Defender in the start search
box > look up, see the words Windows Defender ? Right click on it, click Pin
    to Start Menu.
