OK going through my options for setting up client printers. In Microsoft's
    Help I read:

"If status is set to Enable, the default printer is the printer specified on
    the remote computer.
If the status is set to Disable, the terminal server automatically maps the
client default printer and sets it as the default printer"

OK maybe I am slow or missing something. But don't they both say/do the same
thing? Whether enabled or disable, the client's default printer is set as
    the default printer....Huh ?????

How then do I get terminal services to NOT bother with the Clients printers
and just use the ONE I have setup on the terminal server?

  2. No, it doesn'r say the same thing:
Enabled - client can specify any available session printer as the
    session default printer.
Disabled - clients's local default printer is also default session
    printer.

Anyway, you can disable printer redirection completely, in tscc.msc
    or in a GPO:

Computer Configuration - Administrative templates - Windows
Components - Terminal Services - Client/Server data redirection
"Do not allow client printer redirection"
