Since a few days now the cursor sometimes changes to a hand then it will go back to the normal pointer, any fixes for this please?

The way I have mine set in mouse controls it changes to a hand when hovered over a link or button, is yours just changing at random and are you sure you weren't over a link at the time?
Have a look at the settings for mouse properties in control panel Mike.

I never paid attention to when it happens but will do so next time and get back to you, meantime I have deselected the link change.

I think it started again when I visited Facebook but not sure, also forgot to mention the hand image I am seeing is not the regular hand when you hover over a link, please see attached screenshot, also this hand flickers and all over the page, not only when hovering over a link.

The flickering hand is back, only thing I did out of the ordinary was do some messaging on facebook a short while ago but I had done the same yesterday and this did not happen so I am not sure if it has anything to do with FB?

Have you tried any malware scans Mike, Malwarebytes, and whatever antivirus you have? Might be an uninvited guest caught from facebook.

Trend Micro couldn't find any of today's issues Mike if Malwarebytes doesn't find anything I would suggest you post in the Malware Forum.

MBAM did not reveal anything, I ran SAS, over 400 cookies reported and deleted so let's see what happens this coming week.

Tracking cookies have nothing to do with that Mike. Try running Emsisoft Emergency Scanner or online Eset scanner.
