control panel add remove programs window

    In the add remove programs window I have a very large blank space, starting from about the 20th program the window is black for about 3/4 of the remaining window. The black blank takes up at least 3/4 of the scroll bar. Just wondering how to get rid of all the blank space. The last 10 percent of the window is where the remaining programs are.

    This sounds like some kind of registry issue (yay for the overly complicated new A&R box!). Did anything odd happen around the time this started to happen? I've had large blanks appear on XP machines before, but usually its an entry that's overly tall, rather than a black space.
