About three weeks my laptop (Asus K52F) started randomly and continuously typing zero's where ever typing is allowed. It is not a stuck key, and I don't believe it is a virus because it's been investigated. It won't go away unless I restart my laptop. It happens about 2-5 times a day. Has anyone heard of this problem or even experienced it themselves? Any idea on what I could do to stop this craziness? It is quite annoying.

Welcome to Computer Help Forums, witchblade!! :)

If you have or can get your hands on an external keyboard I would test in order to rule out a keyboard problem with the laptop. Laptop keyboards usually have small hinges that allow the key to pop back up. But it may well be that the "button" that actually is what controls the input may be stuck or malfunctioning.

It sounds like a new keyboard might be the fix. BeeCeeBee has given good advice regarding trying an external keyboard, you could maybe borrow one off a friend or neighbour.

If you do need a new one, they can be brought off Ebay fairly cheaply...
