computer screen resolution

hello

i got a notebook a MSI wind u180 windows 7 starter and i got screen problem basically i cant see the tool-bar or bottom half of the screen
i have tried few things to fix this including

tried changing screen resolution
Total computer wipe windows reinstalled

uninstalled driver and re-download driver from msi and from intel...

reinstalled bios...

my nephew have got same notebook and his is fine checked settings and all are same...

plugging tv into hdmi i can see the screen normal on the tv...

so im lost what to do or try next

if any one got any ideas what it can be please help.

Looks to me your task bar is hidden.

1. Open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Taskbar and Start Menu.
   
   
2. On the Taskbar tab, under Taskbar appearance, clear the Auto-hide the taskbar check box, and then click OK.
   

 

sorry its not hidden its just i cant see bottom 3rd of my screen

 

On the bottom of your monitor have you an "Auto Adjust" function. Most monitors have.

 

its not a monitor its a notebook dnt think it got one

I didn't read your opening post properly.

 

Something is very wrong here.

You said you tried to change the resolution. Were you successful and able to save the resolution?
You can't reinstall the Bios. Do you mean you updated the Bios.
Suggest you double check for the correct Graphic Driver.
What did you use to reinstall Windows7? Recovery Partition? Disc Copy?
Install could have corrupt or missing Files.

 

I don't suppose any chance of warranty return? Afraid that this problem is the Lcd itself needs replacing especially since it works using another monitor. It is not terrible expensive or a big deal to do but that is the problem.
