Hi,I was looking at windows trouble shooting abut Internet connections and found this.
And wondered if this could be the problem with COF.

    DNS errors

A Domain Name System (DNS) error can happen if the DNS server(s) are not properly recognizing the URL. This could be because the DNS server is down or the URL is incorrectly configured in DNS.

It could be possible but your computers will be set to automatically find DNS servers to use, in which case they will use either a DNS server set in your router or your ISP's DNS server.
So if the DNS server was the problem you'd see the same thing on your other computer/s, though I wouldn't rule it out knowing computers, only way to rule it out would be to change the DNS setting on your laptop like explained in my post earlier in this thread.

I couldn't get on COF using my laptop or my desktop.
I use the desktop the most, laptop is for backup in case something happens to this one.

Since you seem to be able to get on here and everywhere else without difficulty (and we use the same basic software as COF) the problem lies with it and apparently not with you. Either they or the host server are doing something wrong. I have communicated my thoughts to them and that is about all I can do. They may want to try contacting the site owner here foe some advice but I doubt that will happen.

Server not found again at COF.Tried at 11 Not going to try anymore,it is late.
Did see the email notifications that Martin was tweaking and that you said Snoopy is gone for the week-end.
So I know she is ok.
I will try again in the morning.

    Hello,
I had to plug my modem back into my wireless so I can do updates on my laptop, way over due.

I gave COF a try with wireless hooked up and I was able to sign in. :)

    Hi Miss M,

Will you please start a new topic either in Windows 7 or misc. Hardware and let us know how the TV and the all in one are connected and what the weird things may be. I think you will get a better response if iyou do that. If this were a bit more complete I would create it for you but would just ask the same question anyway.
    Thanks!

Hi you can change your IP address as dynamic one, if you are using win7. No worries, follow me for directions or check proxyrental.net for support. They really care.
