We have two Windows 2003 standard servers that both use the same password.
Can someone advise me how to change the password and is it possible to use
    different password?

    Thanks,

    Scott

Click Start / Help, then look for help on "Password".

  3. Hello Scott,

Do you talk about standalone servers local administrator or do you mean domain
controllers where the administrator of the domain is meant?

Local administrator accounts you can change to different passwords. The domain
administrator account can only use one password but works on all domain machines.

Keep in mind if you change the administrator password, doesn't matter domain
or local, that when this account is used for example under services or in
applications, that you have to change the password at any place where it
    was used.

    Best regards

"Users" have passwords, do you mean how to change the user password. While a PC
has a password it uses to authenticate with the DC it is constantly being
changed so you would not know what it is.

    Please be more specific.
