I know I should know but...
    I hold these
    070 - 210 Windows 2000 Professional
    070 - 215 Windows 2000 Server
    070 - 216 Windows 2000 Infrastructure
    070 - 217 Windows 2000 Directory Services

What is still valid and what do I need to get the mcse now?

Not needed the qualification before but now been made redundant and need all
    the help I can get.

    Thanks

    Phil

Cheers Dave but I know what certs I've got, my issues are they now useless?
That site really didn't help or give any guidance as to what I need to do now.

Do employers really care about MCSEs? My last job I had 2 colleagues who
were, but frankly didn't really know at a deeper level what was going on and
I was the the Guru. However when then the pinch came I was least experienced
apparently. I suppose it serves me right for believing 20 years experience
but not the certs actually counted.

My point is, is it worth my while gettting the MCSE, spending money I
    haven't got?

  5. Hello Phil,

Yes, especially if you are now back in the job market, that will support
your experience. And this will depend based on the company..Some companies
will state MCSE is a MUST etc. Since you didn't have MCSE in w2k, you will
need to take all required courses (about 7) to obtained MCSE for w2k3 or you
can just go directly for w2k8 certification and by pass 2003... it is up to
you..if you buy the MS books you can abut 15% discount per exam as well.

    Hope this helps,

    Isaac
