Can't play videos in Internet Explorer.

I install Flash Player, and it allows me to watch videos on Internet Explorer ( V-11 ) Sometimes I go to watch a video on IE, and it will not play.( No video in the window.) The rest of that page displays ok. The video box is there, but no video content at all.
After trial, and error, I determined that I have to re-install flash player again to get videos to play. Flash player seems to be installed because it's listed in Control Panel under Programs and Features.
What could be inhibiting flash player to run videos in Internet Explorer, but still show in Programs and Features?
When IE is not allowing videos to play, they do play in Google Chrome browser.
Something I'm running on my computer seems to block flash player from playing videos in IE.

 

Hi, because of hacker attacks, Mozila have actually blocked Flash player in Firefox recently. Microsoft may well have also done the same, except that Firefox asks if you want to use it anyway.
Most video sites such as Youtube are now using the HTML5 player providing the browser supports that, otherwise Youtube defaults back to Flash. Your IE version 11 should support HTML5 so any problems will be other video hosting sites that have not yet changed to the new HTML5 format.
