So... i just got my new computer home today and i wanted to install windows 7 on it. I started it inserted the CD containing windows 7 choose wich bit version i wanted to install, but when i got to the part where i had to choose where to install it i got in trouble. I wasn't able to see any Disks at all in the start so i decided to click the "Load" button. I chose disk c and it wanted me to format it, so i clicked "yes i want to format it" but immediately after it said it couldn't. Before this it also said something about it not being able to find any drivers, and it wanted me to load it from a CD, USB or a floppy disk. Could anyone please help me ?

Is this a band new computer without an operating system? Did it come with any disks and if so what are they? If you formatted your drive you probably removed all of your drivers and they need to be installed so that windows will recognize them.

No operating system, i already had Windows 7 at home. Brand new. It came with 2 discs. 1 MSI afterburner, and the other one called GIGABYTE, a backup system. And i haven't formatted my drive at all. It came up with a window that it wanted me to format it but i couldn't.

GIGABYTE is not a backup system it is probably your motherboard drivers. Does the computer have a separate graphics card. What exactly does it say on the Gigabyte disk? The MSI disk may contain a graphics card driver but afterburner is an oveclocking program. Again, what does the disk say?

Well, gigabyte is my motherboard (System specs http://www.fcomputer.dk/?show=system_show&systemlinkid=114732) But when i run i can choose between 2 buttons one called backup another one called reboot. It also says on the gigabyte that it probably contains different drivers and also windows wich i didn't order.

The MSI disc contains your drivers however don't run the MSI Disc until after the Operating System is installed.
At the top of the MSI Disc select the Driver Icon and install your drivers one at a time.
Don't install anything else only the drivers.
    I am confused here
You would need to partition the drive first.
From your post 3 neither of those Disc's is a Windows7 OS Install Disc.
I have a Gigabyte MSI Disc in front of me and it certainly isn't an OS clean Install disc.

Hi, Just to clear the confusion, the two disks came with your computer, but the Windows7 disk is a separate disk you bought earlier am I right?

Also, from the specification you linked to it states there may be two different drives, but not knowing the language, I cannot decipher if there is either a choice, or both fitted, which is one standard HDD, and one SSD, is it both drives fitted or one of either? If a standard HDD only is fitted your Windows seven disk should have both formatted and installed the operating system, however if a SSD is fitted, or both are fitted, we need to know to go further.

Further you haven't answered BeeCeeBee's question as to whether this Windows7 OS disc you have is genuine or a copy.
Even if Genuine and used on another Computer you wont be able to validate the installation.
Seems odd to just have a new Windows7 disc laying around.
We need answers to these questions. :smile2:
