Bought used printer (no CDs) but downloaded drivers and software from HP site.
Plugged USB in and my laptop recognized new hardware. Subsequently deleted
the new printer icon accidently and since then computer won't recognize any
new printer and so I now have none. Can anyone help?

Have you tried unplugging it from the current USB port to another?
