    Hi All,

I am trying to establish a trust between 2 forests in different location,
when I put DNS Forwarder for both DC (pointing each other), the IP address I
should put is the public IP address or the actual IP address inside the
network?. I tried both but I cannot resolve their DNS via nslookup. And the
DNS domain name should be something like domain.com.local? I have done once
before but on the same subnet.

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards

  2. Hello vdz,

Create a VPN connection between them to have a direct path. Otherwise you
have to configure the routers to forward to the DC/DNS servers, which will
    result in problems.

    Best regards

Thank you very much, I thought we did not need VPN to get it worked.
    Now I understand
